#8 A Gas Occupies 1.00l At Standard Temperature. What Is The Volume Of 333.0\Xb0c? With Solution

#8 A gas occupies 1.00L at standard temperature. What is the volume of 333.0°c? with solution

Volume is 2.219 L

Given Data:

V1 = 1.00 L                         V2 = ?

T1 = 273.15 K                      T2 =  333.0 degree celsius (606.15 K)

This problem can be solved using Charles Law which state that volume is directly proportional to kelvin temperature.

Formula : V1/T1 = V2/T2 or V2 = V1 × T2 / T1

Solution:

V2 = V1 × T2 / T1

V2 = 1.00 L × 606.15 K / 273.15 k

V2 = 606.15 L / 273.15

V2 = 2.219 L

Hope it helps.....=)
